Deseray Shand, M.S.Ed.

Certified School Psychologist | Consultant | Educator

With over 15 years of experience supporting children and individuals with developmental and behavioral needs, I founded Within Reach Consulting to provide families with practical, culturally responsive strategies that can be used in everyday life.

My experience includes school psychology, behavioral intervention, counseling, social-emotional development, early intervention, parent education, and supporting individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.

My goal is to help families better understand their child’s needs, build on their strengths, increase independence, and access strategies and resources that support success at home, in school, and in the community.

Workshops & Global Connections

Within Reach Consulting provides educational workshops and consultation for parents, caregivers, educators, schools, and organizations in the United States and internationally.

Workshop topics can be tailored to the needs of each audience and may include autism and developmental disabilities, behavior support, social-emotional development, communication, parent education, and practical strategies for supporting children at home, in school, and in the community.

Within Reach Consulting has also provided virtual workshops internationally to support families and caregivers.
